Camp NMA-zing
The NMA has contracted KiddieCorp, a leading childcare service provider, to organize a fun-filled and enriching program for the youth of attendees at the NMA 2025 Convention and Scientific Assembly. KiddieCorp has delivered exceptional childcare programs since 1986, earning a sterling reputation for its services with associations and corporations nationwide.
The four-day Camp NMA-zing program offers day and evening sessions, ensuring a comprehensive and engaging experience for the young participants. KiddieCorp maintains chaperone-to-youth ratios that guarantee safe and professional care. Qualified chaperones, including nannies, nurses, and teachers, are certified in first aid and CPR.
Program fees cover transportation, activity admission fees, daily lunches and dinners, four t-shirts, and insurance.

Program Activities Tours (6-17 years old)
- Griffin Museum of Science and Industry
Visiting the Griffin Museum of Science offers children an exciting opportunity to explore the wonders of science through interactive exhibits and engaging educational displays. The museum provides hands-on activities that make complex scientific concepts fun and easy to understand. Whether they are unraveling the mysteries of space, experimenting with the principles of physics, or exploring the marvels of the natural world, the Griffin Museum fosters curiosity and inspires a love for learning in a vibrant and dynamic environment.
- Harold Washington Cultural Center
The children will participate in the Dorothy Jeanius STEAM Leadership Camp at the Harold Washington Cultural Center. They will participate in an exciting mix of creative and technical learning experiences, exploring hands-on labs such as dance, podcasting, engineering, and stage productions. These activities will nurture their creativity and help develop their leadership skills. This enriching environment encourages innovation, teamwork, and confidence as they delve into both the arts and sciences.
- Scene75
Scene75 in Chicago is an incredible destination for the children to enjoy a day filled with fun and excitement. With a variety of activities, including laser tag, bumper cars, arcade games, and mini-golf, it offers something for every interest. The engaging atmosphere and wide range of attractions make it the perfect place for children to bond, explore, and create lasting memories.
- LBFE – Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly
The children will have the opportunity to learn about the organization’s mission to combat loneliness and isolation among the elderly. Through interactive activities and discussions, the children will gain an understanding of how LBFE supports older adults in their community by providing companionship, assistance, and advocacy. As part of the event, the children will decorate Happy Birthday bags for LBFE clients, celebrating their birthdays with personal touches. This hands-on project allows the children to engage in a meaningful way, fostering empathy and kindness while learning the importance of giving back to those in need.
- DuSable Museum of African American History
The children will embark on an exciting tour of the DuSable Museum of African American History in Chicago, where they will explore exhibits showcasing the rich cultural heritage and history of African Americans. Throughout the tour, they will learn about key figures, events, and contributions that have shaped history, engaging with interactive displays and stories. This educational experience will foster a deeper appreciation for diversity and history, offering a memorable and enriching opportunity for the children to expand their knowledge.
- Navy Pier
The children will take a trip to Navy Pier. From thrilling rides like the Centennial Wheel to interactive exhibits and family-friendly performances, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Kids can explore the vibrant atmosphere, enjoy lakefront views, and go on thrilling rides.
Entertainment
Snapology
Snapology offers a unique, hands-on entertainment option where kids can explore creativity and STEM concepts through fun, interactive activities. Using LEGO® bricks and other building materials, children can construct amazing creations, tackle engineering challenges, or even dive into robotics and coding.
Murder Mystery Co.
The Murder Mystery Co. brings an exciting and immersive experience with The Diamond Heist, a thrilling whodunit tailored for children. In this interactive adventure, the kids become junior detectives, working together to solve the mystery of a stolen diamond. With engaging characters, intriguing clues, and plenty of twists, the activity promotes teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity. This unique entertainment option guarantees a fun-filled, unforgettable experience as the children crack the case and uncover the culprit!
Animal Quest
Animal Quest offers an unforgettable experience where children can get up close and personal with fascinating animals from around the world. With hands-on encounters and captivating storytelling, Animal Quest combines entertainment and education, sparking curiosity and wonder in every child. This unique program is perfect for creating lasting memories and fostering a love for animals and nature.
Comedy Clubhouse – Improv Night!
Get ready to laugh out loud with the Comedy Clubhouse Chicago! They will join us for a night to have am Improv session with the children. This high-energy, family-friendly improv show is designed to keep kids entertained and engaged. Featuring hilarious skits, interactive games, and plenty of audience participation, the talented performers create on-the-spot comedy based on kids’ suggestions. It’s a fun-filled experience that encourages creativity, quick thinking, and lots of giggles, making it the perfect entertainment for children of all ages.
DJ Dance Party
A DJ dance party brings high-energy, fun, and excitement, creating the perfect atmosphere for children to let loose and have a blast. With a professional DJ spinning their favorite tunes and a fun director to keep everyone engaged. A DJ dance party is the ultimate way to keep the energy flowing and the smiles glowing!

Each day, parents are required to drop off their child(ren) at 7:30 am and pick them up by 8:00 pm. Camp NMA-zing will be hosted at NMA’s designated hotels for the event. Please note that the schedule of activities may be subject to change.
