Auxiliary to the National Medical Association, Inc.

The Auxiliary to the National Medical Association(ANMA) is a non-profit, volunteer, service organization comprised of the spouses of active members of the National Medical Association and widows and widowers whose spouses were in good standing at the time of their demise. The Mission of the Auxiliary to the National Medical Association, founded in 1936, is to create a greater interest in the National Medical Association (NMA), to encourage the medical profession in its effort to educate and serve the public in matters of health, and to develop and promote a National Auxiliary Program on HEALTH, EDUCATION and LEGISLATION.

Dear Auxilians,

I am deeply honored and pleased to accept the position as your eighty-third president of the Auxiliary to the National Medical Association, Inc., (ANMA). I have been an active member of the ANMA over a decade serving nationally and locally.

I am grateful that you have entrusted me to lead this historical organization which has a legacy of great leadership, community service and a commitment to reducing health disparities in the African American Community.

I pledge my commitment to continue the great traditions of this fine organization through outreach activities to raise the awareness of health issues through education, prevention, access to quality health care, and to increase membership.
